ASHAKOT AK 45 extender for paints
Water-washed ASHAKOT AK 45 is being used now as extender/spacer in paint manufacture.
ASHAKOT AK 45 powder is gaining popularity in medium to high PVC water-based paints, primers and undercoats. The dry powder form can be added to solvent-based paints. ASHAKOT AK 45 can be used to control gloss in sheen paints and can sometimes be used as a substitute for calcined pyrophyllite, calcined clay and other calcined minerals, particularly in medium PVC tint bases. We recommend that clients first test it in their application.
